These are just visual notes on the journey I've undertaken as a girl who's been bitten by the bellydance bug- HARD. :) Although I'm a beginner at using Tumblr, here I aim to share things with you that tickle my fancy, inspire my imagination, and ignite my heart, mind, body & soul to do great things. Favorite Sword Bits?

My fellow bellydancers; what are your favorite songs to sword dance to? What are your favorite sword moves? Do you like performing w/one kind of sword or another? And as I hear many people talk about wearing turbans for sword work, do you prefer turban or no turban?

sihayadesigns answered: I am generally anti-turban, but I do wear a headband or a thin scarf on my hair when dancing with a sword so it doesn’t damage my hair.
