Oh hello!  There you are!! ^_^

In previous seasons I’ve noticed that a few queens’ outfits looked suspiciously like bellydance garb- and once or twice even sworn that some of them were wearing straight-out bedlahs! o.o  ..Remember the ep. where the queens had to dress straight, male jocks last season?  Yeah.. I’m pretty sure Carmen’s guy was wearing a full-on bellydance bra & belt set. :)  

Now TELL me those aren’t bedlahs!?

Want further proof?  See the first pic above; where it looks like the fabulously creative Yara Sofia is wearing her own silver bedlah. :D  So awesome!  She looks like a (slightly scary) drag angel!  Love it!!

And did you see Sharon Needles’ final sashay down the runway?  *shakes head*  They made it look like she “couldn’t dance” on the show, but maybe she’s just new to learning choreography..?  By her hand-framed, walking hip-slide and that SUPER-graceful, fluid, B-movie, horror-inspired pose she whipped out during her last moment on the catwalk, I’d have to say she’s got potential!!

Sharon, come learn to bellydance, mama!  You simply may not have found the right dance for you.  -Yet! ;D

But most of all, big love to ALL my queens out there.. be ye drag queens, bellydance queens, or everyday-wonderful queens!!  Anyone who has the courage and gusto to follow their dreams, while still keeping a sweet, humble & loving spirit IS MY HERO. ^_^  ♥
