Such a booful dancer! ♥
-And a total sweetheart, too. I got to talk with her and Bex a bit a while back at Raven’s Night in NVA, and she’s just an awesome, grounded, kick-butt person. I’d love to take a workshop or sommat w/her someday. ^_^

STUN-NING!!! As a black cat owner (of two in fact, ‘cause I’m lucky like that ^_^) and a somewhat “spookie” girl, I wanna put this all over my blogs- and everywhere else. X-D

Who are your favorite Etsy sellers?
I’ve been wanting to share various things and shops w/y’all for some time now, so tonight during a packing break, I thought I’d sit down and make you a quick gallerie of goodies. :) Here’re some places with INCREDIBLE headdresses, lovely jewelry, faboo costumery, & badass streetwear (for people plus-size and beyond); and likely if you explore their shops a bit further, a lot more. :)
Hope ya like, n’ may your weekend be a great one! ^_^

Belladonna told me a bit about this after her workshop, and I AM SO GOING. I wish I could sing, dance, or even vend for the event, but I don’t know if I’m quite sparkly enough- yet… ;\ -But that notwithstanding; COUNT ME IN!!! ^_^

Music! Music! Music! The piece above is a new song I just encountered tonight. :) Adam Hurst is a musician whom I discovered through Faerieworlds events this past year (though only on their web sites- I couldn’t go *super mega pout*), and who does ALL KINDS of wonderful music, perfect for bellydancing. ^_^ After revisiting his albums on Amazon & checking out the rest of his new album there, I found I really like “Incantation,” too. That would be GREAT for candle dancing, so I think I’m just gonna have to suck it up n’ buy the whole album. ;D *starts looking in the couch for change* (I am way broke, but this must happen! :))
This second song is one I also just came upon tonight, n’ I love its atmospheric feel.. its gravitas & moodiness. :) So entrancing!
And as I’ve shared 2 new pieces with you tonight, I’ll give you one of my most favorite “old” tunes. -Some might not consider kirtans (Hindu chanting) music one might bellydance to, but this piece calls to me in a way I cannot describe, and had me dancing (inside & out- not to mention nearly in tears) from the first moment I heard it. ♥♥♥
The sound quality isn’t the best in this video, but the power behind this music carries, so I hope that by the end you’ll be stirred up into a dancing frenzy. :) And even if you don’t understand the words, I also hope that somewhere this moving music touches & uplifts your spirit, too. :)

(Oh- and if you can get to one of Krishna Das’ live events, I HIGHLY recommend it. They are an experience you’ll never forget! XD)
