This awesome image has inspired an idea in me:  Let’s whip out (n’ share- preferably here ;)) our favorite pics of us w/our sharp & pointy babies!  

-And by that I mean, our SWORDS!  XD

What girl doesn’t love a glistening, keenly sharp dancing companion, ready to cut down her foes or entrance her every onlooker with but a simple turn of the head, hip, shoulder, or wrist..?  (And yes, for those who haven’t discovered the joys of sword dancing yet; a sword can be balanced on ALL those things- as well as much, much more! :D)  I say we should share our best sword-wielding pics!  -And if you don’t have any atm?  Take some brand new ones! ^_^ 

Let us see those sharp n’ shinies! XD

My little student bellydance club will be having a Spring Hafla April 25th, from 5-8pm.  I know it’s an odd day being on a Wednesday, but it’s the only day we could reserve a space, so if you’ve a mind to come to a little town in SW VA somewhere near the end of April, we’d love to have you! ^_^

Two wonderful dancers from DC’s premier gothic bellydance troupe Mortifera will be joining us on our little brick stage, as will a few amazing ladies from around the local area. ^_^  Plus, there’s still time to register if you’d like to perform, too!  If you’re interested, just drop us a line on either of the Hipnotixx pages above, and either the president of the club or I will get back to you in a flash. ^_^

It’s going to be a relatively informal event, but man, it’s our first big independent to-do, so we’re super excited.  Hope to see you there! ^_^
